Matt Adams hit two homers -- giving him seven in his last seven games -- and former Padres No. 1 pick Trea Turner went deep in his Petco Park debut as the Nationals backed seven solid innings from San Diego native Stephen Strasburg for an 8-5 victory on Monday night. San Diego cut a six-run deficit in half, but Washington held on for its eighth win in nine games.
